The Mayor's Food Court provides consumers with current information about Boston's restaurants so that they can make informed decisions about where they will eat. The Mayor's Food Court provides restaurant owners and food service professionals with information about proper food handling and management practices so that they can continue to provide quality food service to consumers.
Each food establishment in Boston is inspected at least once a year to ensure it follows the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code. Establishments that serve "highly" susceptible populations, including nursing homes and day cares, are inspected three times a year.
